AirVPN is an italian based VPN provider that prides itself on transparency and a good reputation. They seemingly haven't bought any paid VPN reviews, and their open-source "Eddie" VPN client is very secure and customizable. Despite refusing to create a mobile app, and have a smaller server selection, AirVPN has been a solid VPN pick since 2010 for people that value security and transparency above all else.
